The 1st Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR), jointly organised by the European Commission and the Government of Croatia, will take place in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 12-13 May 2016. This event will take stock of the progress of the Strategy since its endorsement by the European Council in October 2014, and will contribute to define the way ahead.

Abruzzo Region, partner of EA SEA-WAY strategic project, is organizing the event “Improvement of accessibility and passenger mobility in the Adriatic basin and hinterland”  on March 30th by AURUM - Sala F.P. Tosti - Largo Gardone Riviera – Pescara. The purpose of the conference is to present the activities and the results reached so far by the project and to explain in detail the pilot action on which the local partner is working: Easy Passenger, a tool that will optimise information to enhance passengers mobility.

ERFC and Port of Igoumenitsa, partners of EA SEA-WAY strategic project, are organizing an event on February 29th to present to national and international stakeholders the activities and the results reached so far by the project. The partners will explain in detail the opportunities created with the on-going pilot action “Infomobily and tracking of passengers and their vehicles” that involves Western Greece and South Albania ports.
The event will be also an occasion to capitalize results of other IPA ADRIATIC projects SMART INNO Croatia and Adrihealthmob.


Ancona Port Authority, partner of EA SEA-WAY strategic project, is organizing an Open Day on 26th February at 18.00 at Mercato Ittico del Mandracchio, Ancona.

Port of Bar (Montenegro), partner of EA SEA-WAY strategic project, organizes an event to present to national stakeholders the activities and the results reached so far by the project and to explain in detail the pilot action that involves the central port of the Montenegrin port system.
The Pilot Action of the Port of Bar is focused on a preparation of the technical documentation for the development of port physical infrastructures, favouring the new maritime connections and improving accessibility for medium/large ships with the realization of an extension of the quay at the Passenger terminal.
